Jeri Au: Works in Clay

Invitational Solo Exhibition: Jeri Au.

Missouri artist Jeri Au will present "WORKS ON CLAY," September 13 through October 5 to inaugurate The Clay Studio's 1985/86 season. Ms. Au's previous exhibitions have been in the mia-west, south-west and her native state of Hawaii, and we are pleased to bring her work to Philadelphia for the first time.

Educated at the University of Hawaii, St. Louis University and Southern Illinois University. Au presently teaches at St. Louis community College and Webster University while continuing to keep a busy work and exhibition schedule. Working in porcelain clay, Au sees her work as exploring complexity through the seemingly simple and creating tension that "...coaxes curiosity through the surface openings into the darkened interior."
