Solo Exhibition featuring works by Aquila Galgon
The Clay Studio is pleased to present Aquila W. Galgon in a solo exhibit of her work from August 15 through September 6, 1986. The opening for AQUILA will be Sunday, August 17th from 2 to 5 pm.
Galgon works with traditional coil building methods to form sculptural vessels. "I am excited by working with material which combines the sensuality of tactile experience with the mystery of fire and the accompaning transformation. While my pots are readily accessible because their biomorphic presence invites the viewer's caress, I hope my interest in issues of perspective through the bending and flattening of these forms is also evident."
